On November 23, 2023, a brief groundbreaking ceremony was held for the G320 Gao'an domestic rerouting project in Yanxi section of Wangjiawei Township. With the roar of excavators and bulldozers, the project broke ground and began construction, marking the official entry of the project into the construction phase.
The G320 Gao'an relocation project is a key project included in the 14th Five Year Plan for transportation development in Jiangxi Province. The relocation starts from Guanxi Village in the north of Xiangfu Town, Gao'an City, and ends near the southwest of the Tiger Mountain Anti Japanese Martyrs Memorial Park in Longtan Town. The route passes through five townships and streets, including Xiangfu Town, Ruizhou Street, Wangjiawei Township, Shinao Town, and Longtan Town, with a total length of about 25.25 kilometers; The connecting line with Longgong North Avenue is approximately 2.16 kilometers long. The main technical standards adopted for the project are: two-way four lane first-class highway, with a design driving speed of 80 km/h, a subgrade width of 24.5 meters, and a pavement width of 23 meters. The asphalt concrete pavement is adopted, with a total investment of about 1.77 billion yuan. The land for this project has been approved, and the entire project has officially started construction. The construction period is 2 years, and it is expected to be opened to traffic before the end of 2025.
The construction of this project will enhance the traffic capacity of G320 in the urban section of Gao'an City, alleviate the busy and congested traffic situation in the urban area, improve and optimize the regional road network, and assist in the high-quality development of Gao'an's economy and society.
