On November 27, 2023, Beishi Township in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, signed an investment agreement with Inner Mongolia Yuanneng Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. for the Huichuan 200MW/400MWh independent shared energy storage power station project. It is understood that Inner Mongolia Yuanneng Smart Energy Technology Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Mengxin Ecological Development Co., Ltd.

The energy storage system is planned to be divided into 80 5MWh energy storage units with a total investment of 600 million yuan. It is planned to be constructed in two phases, with a capacity of 200MWh in the first phase and a land area of 50 acres. The second phase has a capacity of 200MWh and a project site of 50 acres. This project will be constructed in zones, and the initial energy storage duration will be designed as 2 hours. We plan to build one 220kV booster station with a voltage level of 220/35kV.

The construction period of the project is 20 months, and it will be fully completed and put into operation by the end of June 2025. The project will achieve an annual tax revenue of 15 million yuan after reaching production.
