Recently, Sinoma Energy Conservation signed a contract with Riyadh Cement Company in Saudi Arabia, agreeing to build two production lines capable of producing 5000 tons of cement per day and equip them with a 13 MW ORC waste heat power plant. This project includes multiple stages such as design, supply, construction, commissioning, and performance evaluation, with a construction period of 20 months. The total amount of this agreement is 34.8 million US dollars, which is the first cooperation between China Energy Conservation and Riyadh Cement.
Meng Qinglin, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Energy Conservation Corporation, and Salah Al Rashed, Chairman of Riyadh Cement Company in Saudi Arabia, respectively signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
This project is the first waste heat power generation project in Saudi Arabia to adopt ORC technology, and China Energy Conservation is the third cement production line waste heat power generation general contracting project in Saudi Arabia, following the Najran and Yanbu cement production line waste heat power generation general contracting projects.
Once completed, the project will become the largest waste heat power plant in the global cement industry using ORC technology and installed capacity, and may have demonstration effects in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, promoting the market expansion of China National Energy Conservation in the Middle East.
