China's concept of green development is helping the Belt and Road build a better future for all countries. Among them, Saudi Arabia's Future City, as a future city under construction, is committed to creating an unprecedented urban living experience and sustainable development model.
Under the historic opportunity of the deep integration of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Saudi Vision 2030, this large-scale, forward-thinking future city is rising on the shores of the Red Sea. It will become a city of the future in reality, demonstrating the deep cooperation between China's green development concept and Saudi Vision 2030.
The Future City is located in Tabuk province in northwestern Saudi Arabia, covering an area of 26,500 square kilometers with a total investment of 500 billion US dollars. It mainly includes first-tier cities, clean industry and innovation cities, eco-tourism cities and other areas, and will be powered entirely by renewable energy. Among them, one of the main projects of the future new city, the first-line city, is a linear city 170 kilometers long, 500 meters high and 200 meters wide, and the external walls are surrounded by mirror glass. Residents can walk for daily necessities in 5 minutes, and the efficient bus network limits residents' one-way commute time within 20 minutes.
The new city of the future will be a model for sustainable development and a green lifestyle. It will make full use of renewable energy and reduce the impact on the environment, while providing efficient and convenient transportation networks and daily necessities, so that residents can enjoy a high quality of life.
The cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia will create a better future for the Belt and Road countries and promote the global green development process. We look forward to seeing the new city become a dynamic and innovative city in the future, showing the world a bright future of green development. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
