Suzlon Group has secured an order for a 225MW wind power project from Everenew Energy in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The project will be located in Vengaimandalam in Trichy District and Ottapidaram in Tuticorin District of Tamil Nadu.

Suzlon will provide 75 S144-140m wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3MW. These turbines are part of Suzlon's 3-3.15MW product line and will be installed on hybrid lattice tube towers. Suzlon will supervise the project from installation to debugging and provide comprehensive ongoing operation and maintenance services. Electricity will be supplied to commercial and industrial customers.
These turbines are equipped with doubly fed induction generator technology, ensuring efficient integration into the public grid and compliance with grid requirements.
