On January 11, 2023, as the last grid connected wind turbine of the Gansu Jiuquan Zhejiang New Energy Subei Mazongshan 300 MW wind power project slowly rotated on the vast desert, Zhejiang Energy Group's largest installed capacity of onshore wind power was fully connected to the grid for power generation, helping the group to "open the door well". This project plays an important role in improving the energy structure of Gansu region and promoting economic and social development. It is a vivid reflection of the continuous deepening of cooperation between the East and the West, as well as the complementary integration of industry and economy.

Currently, with the rapid growth of electricity consumption demand in the whole society, the demand for new energy is also increasing. The Jiuquan Mazongshan wind power project is jointly invested and constructed by Zhejiang New Energy, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Energy Group, and Sun Moon Group. The total installed capacity is 300 MW, with 48 wind turbines installed. After the project is completed, it is expected to generate over 1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of about 400000 households of three and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 850000 tons.
