Recently, the Inner Mongolia thermal power project has ushered in new opportunities and laid the foundation for the reliable and safe operation of Inner Mongolia ’s power. Two large-investment thermal power projects have received good news. The Mengtai Dongsheng Cogeneration Phase 2 2 × 66 million kilowatt project, Huaneng The 1 × 1 million-kilowatt project of the fifth phase of the Dalat Power Plant is included in the plan for self-use coal power in the Mengxi region in 2020. It is planned to be approved and started in 2020.

Huaneng Dalat Power Plant Phase 5 2 × 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired air-cooled generating unit project was invested and built by North United Power Co., Ltd. The power plant is located in Shulinzhao Town, Dalat Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total investment of 61 100 million yuan. In 2020, a 1 million-kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired air-cooled generator set will be built in advance, and another 1 million-kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired air-cooled generator set will be built in the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan.

The 2 × 660MW cogeneration project of Mengtai Dongsheng Phase II is located in Songjiaqu, north suburb of Dongsheng District, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The construction unit is Inner Mongolia Mengtai Group Co., Ltd. The estimated static investment of the project is 40.94 million yuan and the construction of 2 × 660MW supercritical combustion The coal heating unit shall simultaneously build desulfurization and denitration devices.

The construction of the two thermal power projects will create a good employment platform for the citizens of Ordos and promote the development of related industries in the surrounding area. After the two projects are put into operation, it will further expand the industrial scale of Ordos, optimize the industrial structure, extend the industrial chain, and better promote high-quality development.
