Recently, the survey and design of the express line project from Xiong'an New District to Beijing Daxing International Airport has been publicly announced. The total length of the express line from Xiong'an New District to Beijing Daxing International Airport (Line R1) is 85.75 kilometers, passing through Xiong'an New District, Langfang City and Beijing , 7 stations will be set up.

The tender announcement shows that the Xiong'an to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express Line (R1 line) is an important trunk line included in the "four vertical and two horizontal" high-speed railway network in the new area. The total length of the line is about 85.75 kilometers, of which the elevated section is about 65.55 kilometers. The U-groove section is about 1.15 kilometers and the underground section is about 19.05 kilometers. There are 7 stations in Xiong'an Terminal Station, Financial Island Station, East Second Group Station, Xiongxian Station, Xiong'an Station, Bazhou Economic Development Zone Station, Yongqing Station. Among them, Xiong'an Terminal Station, Financial Island Station and East Second Group Station are underground stations, and the remaining four are elevated stations. The project investment is estimated to be RMB 29,388,445,500.

It is understood that the project from Xiong'an New District to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express has been submitted by Hebei Development and Reform Commission for the preliminary work of Xiong'an New District to Beijing Daxing International Airport Express [Jifa Kaihan [2019 〕 No. 376] Approval of construction. The project owner is Hebei Xiong'an Rail Express Co., Ltd., the construction funding source is government investment, the project investment ratio is 100%, the implementation of funds is confirmed, the bidder is Hebei Xiong'an Rail Express Co., Ltd., and the bidding agency is Guoxin Tendering Group Co., Ltd. The project has met the bidding conditions, and the project is now open for public bidding for survey and design.

After the completion of the express line project, it is basically parallel to the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway. It has the characteristics of densely-located stations and rides and escorts.
