China Civil Engineering signs two African road projects

Under the conditions affected by the epidemic, China Civil Engineering took the initiative to attack the African market. Recently, the company signed a construction contract with the Tanzania National Highway Administration for the 56.4 km highway project from Nyamousawa to Bulaba, Tanzania, and as the general contractor of design and construction, successfully signed the road repair project of Puntland in Somalia with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Somalia.

Since the project was contracted, Sino-East Africa Co., Ltd. has devoted itself to the study of tender documents and actively conducted on-site inspections. With the guidance and cooperation of Chinese civil engineering leaders and various departments, it has been recommended as the best bid by virtue of its excellent bidding quality and excellent construction organization plan. In the end, after many rounds of friendly negotiations between the two sides, the contract document of the project was formally signed with the Tanzania National Highway Administration.

The 56.4-kilometer highway project from Nyamousawa to Blabah, Tanzania is located on the shore of Lake Victoria in northern Tanzania. The funding source is the Tanzanian government. The main project is to upgrade and reconstruct the 56.4-kilometer road to a double-surface road. The implementation of this project will further improve the road network around Victoria ’s Great Lakes region and help the economic development of northern Tanzania.

The Somali Bosasso-Galway Highway is located in Puntland State, with a good security situation. It is the only road running north and south of Puntland State. It is divided into Bosasso-Galdo, Gardo-Galway, and Galloway- In the third section of Las Arnold, China Civil Engineering will undertake the road repair work of the latter two sections, with a total length of 245 kilometers. The implementation of the project will effectively improve the traffic accessibility and unimpeded conditions in Puntland, further improve the living standards of local residents, and effectively promote local economic development.

China Civil Engineering is actively involved in the construction of the Belt and Road. In addition to the above projects, China Civil Engineering has recently won more than ten projects in overseas markets such as Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Macau, involving highways, tunnels, power distribution plants and other engineering fields.
