After the bidding is completed, the Yanji Yangtze River Bridge is about to start construction. According to the previously announced bidding announcement, the project will start construction on June 30, 2020.
The project is located at the junction of Huanggang City and Ezhou City, Hubei, about 6.5 kilometers away from the Ehuang Bridge, 22 kilometers away from the East Yangtze River Bridge, the north bank is Huangzhou District of Huanggang City, the south bank is Yanji Town, Ezhou City, and is Ezhou The river crossing bridge project of the city expressway in Huanggang City and the double-track project of the Daguang Expressway are intended to connect the Daguang Expressway on the Huanggang side and the Wu'e Expressway on the Ezhou side.

The main bridge across the river adopts a steel truss suspension bridge with a main span of 1650 meters, a double-deck layout, an upper expressway, a lower urban expressway and a first-class highway. The expressway is connected from Daguang Expressway, from north to south, across the Yangtze River along the Bahe River to Yanji Town in Ezhou City, and then connects to Wu'e Expressway. The urban expressway and first-grade highway starts from Jiangbei first-grade highway S409, and crosses Nanhu Road from north to south and merges into the expressway to merge across the river. The end point ends at the separation of the upper and lower bridges of the project, and the Yan Construction conditions for the Great Expressway.
The total length of cross-strait expressway lines is 26.1 kilometers, two-way 6 lanes; urban expressways and first-grade highways are 8.69 kilometers, two-way 4 lanes. The total investment is estimated to be about RMB 12.9 billion, of which construction and installation costs are RMB 9.59 billion.
After the project is completed, the economic and cultural ties between Huanggang City and Ezhou will be strengthened. At the same time, it will be connected to the core hub of Hubei International Logistics, which will help to speed up the construction of a multi-modal integrated transportation system and enhance regional economic competitiveness.
