According to the announcement, the section from Guangxin High-speed Railway to Zhanjiang will start construction on June 30th.

The new Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway in this bidding project has been approved by the China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. and the People’s Government of Guangdong Province on the "Response of the Feasibility Study Report on the New Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway" (Tiefa Gaihan [2019] No. 136) and "Response for the preliminary design of the new Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway" (Tie Jianhan [2020] No. 192) approved the construction, the project owner is Guangdong Guangzhan Railway Co., Ltd., the construction funds come from the capital of Guangdong Province and bank loans, and the project is funded The proportion is 50% each for capital and bank loans, and the bidder is Guangdong Guangzhan Railway Co., Ltd.

The construction of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway Foshan Station to Xijiang Qiaowei, Xinxing South Station to Zhanjiang North Station (D3K24+300～DK50+328.089, DK129+300～DK420+190.993), including the construction of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Guangzhou passenger line, The Guangmao-Guangzhou-Zhuhai connection line project, the street-side reconstruction of the Guangmao line project, the Zhanjiang North Train Station and the running line do not include the tendered GZEPC-1 project.

Construction drawing design period: The project in front of the station meets the conditions for starting construction on June 30, 2020; the total planned construction period: 60 months (including joint commissioning, joint operation and operation test), of which the construction period in front of the station of the Zhanjiang Bay Undersea Tunnel is 46 month.
