On June 17, local time, the construction ceremony of the Serbia Vallevo-Rajkovac Expressway project undertaken by Shandong Expressway Group was held. Serbian President Vučic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Mikhailovich, and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo attended the meeting.

This project is the second large-scale transportation infrastructure project that won the bid in Serbia after Shandong Expressway Group successfully implemented the Serbian E763 highway project. It is also the second highway project implemented by Luqi in Serbia. It is the main business of Shandong Expressway Group based on transportation. In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, another achievement has been made in implementing the strategic layout requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to "create a new highland open to the outside world".

The project uses the EPC project general contracting method. The contract value is 158 million euros (about 1.25 billion yuan), a total length of 18.3 kilometers, two-way 4 lanes, and a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
