Recently, after receiving the notice from Huadian Tendering Co., Ltd., China Energy Construction Southwest Design Institute won the bid for the survey and design contract for the 2×350,000 kilowatt coal-fired joint venture project of Indonesia's Jambi 2 project and its supporting power transmission and transformation projects.

The project is located in Jambi Province, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. It is planned to construct two 350 MW supercritical coal-fired power generating units and a 500 kV double-circuit transmission line on the same tower with a total length of about 120 kilometers. After the project is completed, it will provide a stable power supply to the Indonesian island of Sumatra and provide strong support for the sustainable development of the local economy.
