According to Hu Shengwang, Chairman of Turpan West Journey Rail Transit Co., Ltd., the Turpan Tourism Modern Tram Project is the main line of tourism and sightseeing, serving scenic spots around the city and taking care of residents' traffic. The project has constructed 3 lines with a total investment of 1.87 billion yuan in the first phase. It is planned to construct two lines No. 1 and No. 3, with a total length of 26.8 kilometers, and 18 stations, including 2 transfer stations.

After the completion of the project, it will cooperate with other means of transportation to effectively promote the coordinated development of various scenic spots, and achieve a smooth connection between high-speed railway stations, airports, bus stations, urban areas and tourist attractions.
