Recently, the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province announced that the CT-A3 bid section of Changtai Yangtze River Bridge was won by the China Communications Second Navigation Engineering Bureau with 4.25 billion yuan; the CT-A4 bid section was won by China Railway Bridge Bureau with 4.76 billion yuan.

The project route starts from Liuweigang Avenue in Taixing City, crosses the main channel of the Yangtze River, passes through Lu'anzhou, crosses the Yangtze River and Jiajiang, and ends at Gangqu Avenue in Xinbei District, Changzhou City. The total length of the route is 10.03 kilometers and the combined highway-railway section is 5299.2. Meters, 4730.8 meters long for ordinary highway connections. The project adopts the "expressway + intercity railway + ordinary road" method to cross the river, and the bridge scheme is adopted across the river. The main channel bridge adopts a double-layer cable-stayed bridge, the upper layer of the bridge is a highway, and the lower layer is an intercity railway and ordinary highway; Anzhou and Tianxingzhou special channel bridges adopt steel truss arch bridges, Lu'anzhou non-navigable bridges adopt continuous steel truss beam bridges, and the approach bridges on both sides adopt prestressed concrete beam bridges. Ordinary road connections include 2.34 kilometers on the Taixing side and 2.39 kilometers on the Changzhou side. The first-class road standard is adopted and the design speed is 80 kilometers per hour. The scope of implementation of this project covers the highway-rail joint construction section and the ordinary road connection, but the main project of the Changtai Intercity Railway will not be implemented for the time being. Only the ballast and subsequent reserved projects to the joint construction part will be implemented, and the later Changtai will be reserved. Main channel bridge

The project adopts a double-tower cable-stayed bridge scheme, with a main span of 1176m, located between 3#~8# piers. The main pier foundation adopts a stepped caisson foundation; the main tower adopts a “steel-concrete” mixed structural space diamond-shaped bridge tower. The tower is designed with a total height of 340 meters and is divided into three sections, an upper tower column, a middle tower column and a lower tower column. The upper tower column adopts a steel-concrete composite structure, and the middle and lower tower columns adopt a reinforced concrete structure. Both side pier and auxiliary pier foundations are bored pile foundations. The stay cable uses parallel steel wire cables with a diameter of 7mm. The upstream stay cable uses a standard tensile strength of 2100MPa, and the downstream stay cable uses a standard tensile strength of 2000MPa. It is matched with the two main beam structures and the cable is arranged with two cable surfaces. . The main girder adopts a box-truss composite truss structure with a truss width of 35m and a truss height of 15.5m. The height difference between the top of the rail of the railway bridge and the crown of the highway is 14.670m, and the height of the road crown from the lower layer of the highway is 0.535m.

Tianxingzhou Dedicated Channel Bridge

The Tianxingzhou special channel bridge is located between 0#~3# piers. It adopts a steel truss arch bridge structure. The span is (169.5+388+169.5)m and the total length is 724m. The main girder flat chord adopts "N"-shaped truss; the sling adopts diameter 7mm parallel steel wire cable, the standard tensile strength is 1860MPa. The main beam adopts a plate-truss composite structure with a width of 35m, which is consistent with the height of the main bridge deck, and the truss height is 15.104m. The height difference between the rail top of the railway bridge deck and the highway bridge deck of the Tianxingzhou special channel bridge is 14.670m, and the height of the lower road crown from the top of the rail is 0.535m.

Lu'anzhou Dedicated Channel Bridge

The project is located between 11#~14# piers and adopts a steel truss arch bridge structure. The span is 724m in length. The main girder flat chord adopts an "N"-shaped truss; the sling adopts 7mm diameter parallel steel wire cables, and the standard tensile strength is 1860MPa. The main girder adopts a plate-truss composite structure. The truss width is 35m to be consistent with the height of the main bridge deck, and the truss height is 15.104m. The height difference between the rail top of the railway bridge deck and the highway bridge deck of Lu'anzhou special channel bridge is 14.670m, and the height of the lower road crown to the top of the rail is 0.535m.

Lu'anzhou Non-Navigable Bridge

The project uses continuous steel truss beams, and the corresponding bridge piers are 8#~11#. Piers 8# and 11# are transition piers. The continuous steel truss bridge is connected with the main channel bridge at pier 8 and connected with the Luanzhou special channel bridge at 11#. In order to reduce the amount of expansion and contraction of the main bridge side expansion joint, the fixed bearing is set at Pier 9 which is closer to the main channel bridge. The main truss truss adopts an N-shaped truss, and the steel truss beam adopts a two-truss structure, and the center spacing of the two main truss is 35m. Each continuous steel beam spans 9 inter-nodes, the standard inter-node length is 14.0m, the inter-node length at the fulcrum is 13m, and the beam end requires an inter-node length of 12.8m due to expansion joints. The continuous steel truss bridge is located on a longitudinal slope of 12‰. The upper and lower chords of the truss beam are arranged parallel to the longitudinal slope of the line, and the vertical rods are perpendicular to the longitudinal slope. The main girder adopts a double-layer plate-truss composite structure, which is 15.2m high in order to maintain the same height as the main bridge deck.

The Changtai Yangtze River Bridge is an important project of the comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor of the Yangtze River Economic Zone, and also a key key project of the expressway network and intercity railway network in the province.
