On August 13, the construction of the Fengle Hanjiang Highway Bridge in Zhongxiang City, Jingmen, was officially started in Fengle Town on the east bank of the Jingmen section of the Han River.

It is understood that the Fengle Hanjiang Highway Bridge project is located in the north of Zhongxiang City, starting from Chenying Village, Huji Town, and ending at the north side of Santan Village, Fengle Town. The total length is 6.688 kilometers, of which the bridge length is 2.319 kilometers, the east and west bank connection length is 4.369 kilometers, the design width is 24.5 meters, the driving speed is 80 kilometers/hour, and the road and bridge are the same width. The total budgeted investment is 680 million yuan. The entire line will be constructed in accordance with the PPP model and financed by China Communications Road and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. The construction period will be 36 months.

The Fengle Hanjiang Highway Bridge project is one of the important traffic projects in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Jingmen City. It is also a control project for the 482 Provincial Highway to cross the Hanjiang River. After the bridge is completed and opened to traffic, it will open up the traffic bottleneck of no cross-river passage and ferry crossing within 81 kilometers of the east and west areas of Zhongxiang City, and will connect the 207 National Road to the tourist circle of Dahongshan, speeding up the promotion of the ecological and cultural tourism circle of western Hubei and Wuhan The efficient integration of resources in the city circle will help the further development of Zhongxiang's economy.
