The car is tailor-made for the country's first low-to-medium-speed maglev travel line. It adopts normally conductive magnetic levitation and short stator linear motor traction technology, and has a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

On the CRRC Tangshan test line, the yellow and white Qingyuan maglev train quietly and steadily moved along the maglev rail, like a cute dolphin "flying close to the ground." The train adopts a precise single-point suspension control system, excellent aerodynamic and streamlined design, and a safe and reliable pure hydraulic braking device. It relies on the electromagnetic attraction generated by the normally conductive magnets "hugging" under the rails and the rails to make the train float. The height is about 8-10 mm, and it is driven by a linear motor, without the impact, vibration and friction between the wheels of the traditional wheel-rail train and the track. The 38-kilometer Qingyuan Maglev Tourist Line serves the Changlong Theme Park tourist attraction. The first phase of the special line is about 8.1 kilometers long.
