Recently, the first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 was officially approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is reported that this project is the second full line of the Nanjing Metro to the north of the Yangtze River and is scheduled to open to traffic around 2023.

The first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 is located in Pukou District as a whole. The line starts at Puzhou Road Station in the north, from the Qiaobei area to the south into the central area of Jiangbei New Area, passes through the Sanqiao area, and enters Qiaolin New City, and ends at Maluoxu Station in the south. The second phase of the project will extend northward to Getang Station. The first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 has a total length of 27 kilometers, of which the underground section is 25.6 km, the transition section is 0.4 km, and the elevated section is 1 km. There are 20 stations, including 19 underground stations and 1 elevated station; 6 trains are used. Sectional A-type trains. According to the relevant person in charge, the first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 will run 162 pairs of trains throughout the day in the early stage, 214 pairs of trains will run all day in the near future, and 258 pairs of trains will run all day in the long term. Train route: one route in the initial stage, two routes in the short and long term.

On the one hand, the first phase of Nanjing Metro Line 11 connects multiple subway lines into one line to take on the transfer function.
