China Architecture signs contract for library and auditorium project in Malawi

On October 9, 2020, China State Construction announced that China State Construction and Mzuzu University of Malawi signed a general contract for library and auditorium project construction.

The contract value of the project is about 9.35 million US dollars, funded by the Malawi Ministry of Finance, the advance payment is 20% of the contract value, and the construction period is 24 months.

The project includes the construction of a three-story library on the university campus, an auditorium and other auxiliary outdoor projects, with a total construction area of 14,000 square meters.

This project is China Construction's first project in Malawi. China State Construction Zambia Branch has overcome difficulties and worked hard within two years to overcome the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and finally opened up another city for China Construction's overseas market, laid a solid foundation for regional operations, and further expanded China Construction Influence in Southern Africa.
