Recently, the feasibility study report of the newly built Beijing-Xiong’an New Area-Shangqiu high-speed railway project was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, which marked the official entry into the implementation stage of the project.

It is understood that the Beijing-Xiong-shanghai high-speed rail line starts from the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway Xiong'an Station and passes through Xiong'an New District, Cangzhou City, Hengshui City, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, Puyang City, Henan Province, and Jining City, Shandong Province. Heze City to Zhangqiu City, Henan Province, connected to Shangqiu Station City of Shanghe-Hangzhou High-speed Railway, the main line is 552.5km in length, with a design speed of 350km/h. There are 14 stations on the whole line, including 11 newly built stations, with a total investment of 82.71 billion yuan. The planned long-term annual transportation capacity is 50 million people per year, and the construction period is 4 years.

According to the relevant person in charge, the Beijing-Xiong-shanghai high-speed railway is about 268.79km in Shandong Province, of which, in the Heze area, it runs parallel to the Heze-Qufu section of the southern Shandong high-speed railway for about 18.4km, and is introduced into Heze East Station. The parallel section of the Jingxiong-Shanghai High-speed Railway and the Lunan High-speed Railway is an important node project related to the smooth opening of the Lunan High-speed Railway. The construction of the parallel section is completed before the opening of the Hequ section of the Lunan High-speed Railway, which will greatly reduce the construction of adjacent existing lines.
