On the morning of December 2, 2020, Shaoxing held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Keqiao-Zhuji Expressway Project.

Kezhu Expressway Project

It is understood that the Kezhu Expressway Project is the second expressway connecting the main urban area and Zhuji. The project starts at the Fuquan hub of the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taiwan Expressway, passing southwest through Fuquan, Lizhu, Diankou, Yaojiang and other towns (streets), connecting to the Yaojiang hub of the Zhuyong Expressway, and finally near Zhuji North of the Zhuyong Expressway. The main line has a total length of 39.3 kilometers and a design speed of 100 km/h. The starting point to the Yaojiang hub adopts the two-way six-lane expressway standard, and the roadbed width is 33.5 meters; the main line Yaojiang junction to the final section adopts the two-way four-lane expressway standard, and the roadbed width 26 meters, the estimated investment is 16.1 billion yuan.

Simultaneously construct 2 connection lines. Among them, the Lizhu interconnection line is about 6.27 kilometers long, adopts the two-way four-lane first-class highway standard, and the investment is about 805.2 million yuan; the Diankou interconnection line is about 3.318 kilometers long, adopts the two-way four-lane first-class highway standard, and the investment is about 421.3 million yuan .

It is reported that Kezhu Expressway is an important project in the 13th Five-Year Plan of Zhejiang Province's comprehensive transportation development. In the future, with the construction of this project, the layout of the expressway network in the Hangzhou metropolitan area will be further improved, effectively alleviating the current traffic congestion on the east line of the Hangzhou Ring Expressway, and reducing the traffic pressure from the Hongken Hub to Zhuji section of the G60 Hangjinqu Expressway.
