Shenshan Railway
The Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed rail starts at Xili Station in the Shenzhen Railway Hub, passes through Luohu, Pingshan and other districts in Shenzhen, Huizhou to the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone, and is introduced to the Shenzhen-Shantou Station of the Guangzhou-Shantou Railway under construction. 48.51 billion yuan. According to the standard of 350 km/h, there are 6 stations in Xili, Luohu Hubei, Shenzhen Pingshan, Huizhou South, Huidong and Shenshan.
Among them, the Shenzhen section is 55 kilometers away with 3 stations; the Huizhou section is 57 kilometers away with 2 stations, which are combined with the existing Xiamen-Shenzhen high-speed rail Huizhou South Station and Huidong Station; the Shenzhen-Shantou Cooperation Zone is 17 kilometers away with 1 station.
According to the plan, the Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed railway is expected to be completed in 2025. The whole journey will take about 40 minutes by then, and it will only take more than 10 minutes from Huizhou South Railway Station to Shenzhen.
The first section to be started this time is from Xili Station to Luohu Hubei Station Tanglangshan Tunnel (West DK114+370~DK128+257), with a length of about 13.89 kilometers, all of which are tunnel construction by mining method; set Meilin and Changlingpi 2 The inclined shaft is about 1.7 kilometers long.
As a fast track connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to East Guangdong, the Shenzhen-Shantou Railway assumes the function of the national medium and long-distance high-speed railway and the high-frequency high-speed intercity function between Shenzhen and Shenzhen-Shantou cooperation. Once completed and put into operation, it will further strengthen the interconnection between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the Haixi and the Yangtze River Delta, and accelerate the construction of a coastal high-speed railway network.
It is understood that in 2021, the total mileage of the national railway, intercity and metro three railways under construction in Shenzhen will reach 575.4 kilometers (National Railway Intercity 340 + Metro 235.4), with a total investment of more than 467.86 billion yuan (National Railway Intercity 230 billion Yuan + subway 237.86 billion yuan), which will enhance Shenzhen’s core engine functions in the Greater Bay Area.
