The Diaoshun Sea Crossing Bridge is located in the northern part of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, with a total length of about 9.36 kilometers. It crosses Zhanjiang Bay and connects the east and west banks of Zhanjiang City. The main bridge of the bridge is 591 meters long, with a main span of 296 meters. It is a cable-stayed bridge with two towers and two cable planes. The entire bridge deck is 37.5 meters wide, with 6 lanes in both directions and a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour. As an important connecting carrier of Zhanjiang's "One Bay and Two Banks", the bridge is based on the theme of "Smooth weather, Zhanjiang Red Gate". It integrates important traffic routes and bay landscape. After completion, it will become the top of Zhanjiang Bay, which can be called "strength and beauty." The main girder of the bridge adopts a flat streamlined fully enclosed steel box composite girder structure, divided into six types, with a total girder length of 591 meters and a total of 53 girder sections. The stage construction shall be carried out in the order of erection of pier top block, cantilever assembly, side span closure and mid span closure. After the bridge deck has been stored for 6 months and meets the design requirements, it will be superimposed with steel box girder in the factory for construction, and then "cross the ocean" for more than 2,000 kilometers, and transported to the bridge location of the Tiaoshun Cross-sea Bridge. Erect.

The bridge is the first PPP project in Zhanjiang City. It is a key project in Guangdong Province. After its completion, it will build a fast-track external link between Zhanjiang City’s "North Link Expressway, Nantong Port Area, West into the City, and East Link to the Airport".
