According to the data of the Ministry of industry and information technology, China has built more than 70 industrial Internet platforms with strong industry and regional influence, including 15 industrial Internet platforms including rootcloud platform, which have been listed in the "list of cross industry and cross domain industrial Internet platforms" by the Ministry of industry and information technology. At present, the industrial Internet network has covered 300 cities, connected 180000 industrial enterprises, and covered more than 30 key industries of national economy, such as equipment manufacturing, aerospace, etc., accelerating the innovation and reform of various industries.

The rapid development of industrial Internet drives the rapid improvement of industrial scale, which has become an important starting point for China's high-quality economic development and alleviating employment pressure. According to CCTV statistics, in 2020, the economic added value of China's industrial Internet industry will be about 3.1 trillion yuan, accounting for 2.9% of GDP, which will drive more than 2.55 million new jobs. In January 2021, the Ministry of industry and information technology issued the "industrial Internet innovation and development action plan (2021-2023)", pointing out that China's industrial Internet development has achieved remarkable results.
