The Italian solar photovoltaic market has frequent contacts with global markets and is one of the most potential markets in the European photovoltaic field. Blue Elephant Energy AG, a solar and wind farm operator based in Hamburg, Germany, confirmed on January 31, 2021 that it has signed a joint development agreement with the Greencells Group to provide a portfolio of solar products of 237 MWp in Italy and the Netherlands.

According to the terms of the agreement, BEE and Greencells will jointly develop six solar projects in Puglia, Italy, with a total capacity of 158 MWp, and seven Dutch projects with a total of 79 MWp.

It is expected that the first solar project will be put into use before 2022, and all facilities will be put into operation by 2025 at the latest. Editor/Sang Xiaomei
