On the afternoon of January 31, 2021, with the start of the first batch of Japanese commercial vehicles to be sent to Kazakhstan, China's first multimodal transport channel for commercial vehicles from East Asia to Central Asia was officially opened in liaogang group. One belt, one road, one belt, one road, was built by the Liaoning port to build a new logistics channel. It is also a new attempt to build a "one belt and one road" project. It has become a vivid practice of the Dalian port group to help build a new development pattern of "double circulation" and build an international shipping center in Northeast Asia.

With the help of this channel, the first batch of Japanese commercial vehicles arrived at Dalian port by Ro / Ro sea on January 29. After completing the train loading operation in the port on January 31, they were sent to Xinjiang Horgos port by railway for reloading, and are expected to arrive at Kazakhstan entry port in mid February.

It is understood that in the past, Japanese commercial vehicles entered central Asia by sea through the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. After arriving in Russia, they were allocated to Kazakhstan. The whole journey took more than 80 days. Through the new multimodal transport channel opened by liaogang group, the transit time of Japanese commercial vehicles is reduced to about 30 days, which can save more than half of the transportation time compared with the past, effectively reduce the comprehensive logistics cost of customers, and thus enhance the competitiveness of Japanese commercial vehicles in the Central Asia market.

Dalian port has been actively building a communication and cooperation platform with Japanese and South Korean automobile manufacturers, logistics providers, railways and other relevant units, and promoting the construction of international logistics channel of commodity vehicle transit transportation with Dalian as the hub.

In order to win the Japanese commercial vehicle transit transportation project, Dalian port, Japan Post shipping, China Railway special cargo Co., Ltd. and relevant partners set up a commercial vehicle transit transportation team to be responsible for the planning, design, preparation and promotion of the whole logistics scheme of the project; coordinate with port units, logistics providers and railways to ensure the efficient connection of all links in the whole process of the project and meet the needs of customers Finally, the project was successfully implemented. At the same time, in order to cooperate with the smooth development of the project, the original railway special line in the port has been reconstructed and expanded to further optimize the operation environment and operation capacity of the railway line at the automobile terminal.

In addition, Dalian port units actively support the development of the project, coordinate and solve the problems concerned by customers; Dalian Customs on-site office improves the efficiency of customs clearance, and ensures the smooth operation of the project.

One belt, one road, is a new product of the cross boundary transport of commercial vehicles. It not only expands the business mode of the terminal, but also enriches the supply structure of the central Europe train. Through the development of this business, liaogang group can give full play to its role as a bridge between East Asia in the East and Central Asia in the west, speed up the development of foreign trade routes, and speed up the construction of commodity vehicle transfer center.
