On February 3, 2021, the completion and opening ceremony of "tram construction and West Extension Project in Shenfu demonstration area" designed and provided by CRRC Dalian Locomotive and rolling stock Co., Ltd. was held in Shenfu demonstration area. As the first tram project connecting two cities in China, it takes the lead in realizing the development goal of transportation integration and public transportation in Shenyang, Fushun and Shenfu demonstration areas.

The tram construction and West Extension Project in Shenfu demonstration area is one of the 100 key projects of Liaoning provincial government's special action in 2020. With a total length of 5.2km, the line is the East-West backbone line that runs through the core area of Shenfu demonstration area. It connects with Hunnan tram line 5 westward and runs through.

The opening of the project will further improve the transportation infrastructure of the Shenfu demonstration area, guide the future development of the demonstration area relying on the rail transit project, create the "new business card" of the Shenfu demonstration area, and point out the direction for the subsequent rail transit construction of the Shenfu demonstration area, which is of great significance to the revitalization of the northeast old industrial base.(please refer to www.seetao.com for reprint.  ）Editor of seetao.com / Sun Mengmeng
