The Western Han Dynasty Changxin Palace Lamp, the bronze ware of the Han Dynasty in China, was unearthed in the tomb of Dou Yu, the wife of Liu Jing, the son of Jingshan, Mancheng County, Hebei Province in 1968. Exhibited as an exhibit of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo in China.

The palace lantern body is a palace lady with a full body of gold and two hands holding the lamp. It is quiet and elegant. The lamp body is 48 cm high and weighs 15.85 kg. The design of the Changxin Palace lantern is very clever. The palace lady holds the lamp in one hand, and the other hand sleeve is like a windshield. It is a rainbow tube to absorb the fumes, which not only prevents air pollution, but also has aesthetic value. This palace lamp was named after it was placed in the Changxin Palace in the back of Dou, and is now in the Hebei Museum.

The Changxin Palace lamp is 48 cm high and the palace female is 44.5 cm high and weighs 15.85 kg.

It is full of gold and looks gorgeous and gorgeous. The sheet metal process on the bronze has appeared during the Warring States period. After the bronze is treated with sheet metal, the surface is magnificent, and it plays an important role in the protection of the bronze after the sheet metal. This unearthed Long letter lantern is the best testimony.

The overall shape of the palace lantern is a squatting palace woman holding hands with lights. The head, the body, the right arm, the lamp holder, the lamp panel and the lampshade are assembled and assembled. The palace is empty and the head and right arm can be removed. The left hand of the palace lady holds the lamp holder, the right hand carries the lampshade, the right arm communicates with the flue of the lamp, and the hand sleeve is used as the pipe for the smoke exhaust.

The wide sleeves hang down naturally, subtly forming the top of the lamp. The lampshade is rounded by two orphaned silicon-shaped copper plates and is embedded in the groove of the lamp plate. It can be opened and closed to the left and right, so that the brightness and intensity of the illumination direction can be arbitrarily adjusted. A candle is inserted into the center of the lamp panel and the solder. After ignition, the smoke will enter the body along the sleeve of the palace lady, which will not pollute the environment and keep the room clean.

The design of the palace lantern is reasonable and many components can be disassembled. The lamp panel has a handle and there is still a dead wood inside. The seat is like a bean shape. A small amount of waxy residue remains in the upper part of the lampshade, and it is assumed that the substance burned in the lamp is animal fat or candle. There are not many modifications and complicated patterns on the surface of the palace lanterns, which are relatively simple in the court equipment of the same age.

Some parts of the lamp body are engraved with inscriptions in nine places, for a total of 65 words.

The inscription on the bottom of the upper lamp holder of the Changxin Palace lamp is engraved with the inscription "Changxin Shang Bath, one liter and a half liter, weighing six kilograms, one hundred and eighty-nine, and the person lying in the present". After careful observation, the handwriting is slightly scribbled. It was only later engraved, so "Changxin Shang Bath" does not seem to be the original owner of this lamp. The original owner should be engraved first, and the writing is relatively neat, so there are 6 "Yangxinjia" on the lamp body. The inscription on the words indicates that the palace lantern was originally the home of Liu Jiezhi, who belongs to Yangxin Yihou.

The palace lantern also has the word "Changxin", which is used in the Changxin Palace of Dou Taihou's residence, hence the name "Changxin Palace Lamp".

The Changxin Palace lanterns have changed the mysterious and heavy weight of the bronze vessels in the past. The whole shape and decoration styles are stretched, light and gorgeous. It is a practical and beautiful lighting treasure. The bronze statue of the palace lady is hollow, and the empty right arm and the sleeve form a copper lampshade, which can be opened and closed freely. The dust generated by the combustion can be deposited in the palace girl through the right arm of the palace lady, and will not be scattered to the surrounding environment. The concept reflects the wisdom of the ancient Chinese people. The Changxin Palace lanterns are known as the "first light of China."

When former US Secretary of State Kissinger visited China, he visited the Changxin Palace lanterns and said: "The Chinese people have understood environmental protection more than 2,000 years ago. It is really amazing."

Changxin Palace lanterns have long been widely recognized as the pinnacle of Chinese arts and crafts and an important representative of ethnic crafts. This is not only because of its uniqueness, rare and precious, but also because of its exquisite craftsmanship and ingenious and unique artistic conception. Take a separate casting method and then synthesize a whole. Experts in archaeology and metallurgical history have unanimously recognized that the design of this lamp is exquisite and the level of production technology is high, which is second to none in the Han Dynasty palace lanterns. In 1993, it was identified as a national treasure. Editor / Zhao Jing
