On March 7, 2021, China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau and Indonesian state-owned enterprise PT. The consortium formed by HutamaKarya won the bid for the land terminal and terminal project of the LPG cold storage terminal in East Java, Indonesia, and China Communications Construction Co., Ltd. won the bid for the second phase of the Damansara Heights complex tower project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Indonesian project is located in Tuban County, East Java Province, Java Island, Indonesia. The main engineering volume includes a new LPG cold storage terminal with a processing capacity of 93,000 tons, 3 docks and supporting units, related pipeline systems and other infrastructure. The project is an EPCC model. This project is the largest oil and gas storage and transportation infrastructure of Indonesia's National Petroleum Corporation in 2020. After construction, it will greatly increase the supply capacity of LPG in the region and meet the demand for LPG in eastern Indonesia such as East Java and Bali. This is the second large-scale oil and gas storage and transportation facility construction project obtained by the Pipeline Bureau in Indonesia after the Ravelavi project in Indonesia.
Residential Projects in Malaysia
The project mainly includes two 52-storey and 53-storey service apartment residences, a 32-storey office building and hotel building, with a total construction area of approximately 256,000 square meters. With a contract value of US$157 million, the project has become the largest housing construction project undertaken by China Communications Construction in Malaysia.Editor/Xing Wentao
