Recently, China nengjian Gezhouba Group, as a joint venture with GRC company of Pakistan, signed the EPC contract for the spot exchange project of Balakot hydropower station with pedo of Pakistan. The contract value of the project is about 3.335 billion yuan, with Gezhouba Group accounting for 90%.

One belt, one road to success, is the success of the Gezhouba Dam group in implementing China's "several opinions", adhering to market orientation, deepening the intensive development of key countries, and achieving the rolling development in Pakistan's energy cooperation. The chief minister of Pakistan's Cape Province and CEO of the Energy Development Bureau witnessed the signing.

Balakot hydropower station is located in manzela, Cape Province, Pakistan. It is the largest hydropower project currently planned and constructed by the Energy Development Bureau of Cape Province, Pakistan. The source of funds is the Asian Development Bank. Three Francis units with a total installed capacity of 300000 kW are installed in the project. The main work includes the design, supply, installation and construction of concrete gravity dam, right bank flushing tunnel, power generation and water diversion system, etc. The completion of the project will effectively alleviate the local power shortage, further enhance the proportion of clean energy in Pakistan, and provide power for social and economic development. The project starts immediately after signing the contract.

The project is another hydropower project signed by Gezhouba Group in Pakistan under the background of epidemic situation by combining on-line and on-site negotiation, realizing new breakthrough of project mode and further cultivation of regional market.

Pakistan is a key country for overseas investment and construction of Gezhouba Group and a country for deep cultivation. It is a US $10 billion market for international business of Gezhouba Group.
