On March 16, 2021, Qinghai National Road S312 Line Maduo to Sewugou Highway Rerouting Project and National Road 345 Line Zaduo to Chawula Section Highway Reconstruction Project won the bid for construction, with a total investment of 1.23 billion yuan.

S312 Line Maduo to Sewugou Highway

Qinghai No. 1 Road Bridge won the bid for the project with a total length of 67.076km and an altitude of more than 4000 meters along the route. The project belongs to the Sanjiangyuan Protection Area, and temporary land use such as soil taking and spoil yards, flakes (sand) and stone material yards should be set up outside the protection area. S312 Maduo-Sewugou Highway Reconstruction Project: Maduo Township to Zongmaoqu Section: The starting point of the route K200+000 is located at 2 Km east of Maduo Township, Qumalai County, and the route is basically northeast to southwest, and the end point is K220+ 000 is located in Zongmaoqu, Maduo Township, with a total length of 19.969 Km.

This section adopts the secondary road standard of "Highway Engineering Technical Standards" (JTG B01-2014) issued by the Ministry, with a design speed of 60 Km/h, a main line base width of 8.5m, and a roadbed width of 22m in the transit section of Maduo Township. S312 Line Maduo to Sewugou Highway Reconstruction Project Zongmaoqu to Gari Aqianggaqu section: the starting point of the route K220+000 is located at Zongmaoqu, the end point K244+000 is located at Gari Aqianggaqu, the total length of the route is 23.605 Km . The main control points are Ayong, Zhalinghu Township Chakou, Zongmaoqu, Zuomaomarongyakou, Kariqu, and Gari Aqianggaqu. The total investment of the project is 570 million.

National Highway 345 from Zaduo to Chawula Section of Highway

Qinghai Weiyuan Road and Bridge won the bid for this project. The route is located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, Qinghai Province. The road reconstruction project from Zaduo to Chawula Section of National Highway 345 is located in Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The starting point of the route is in Yushu Prefecture. Zaduo County, through Wali Mountain Pass, Adduo Township Chakou, Adduo Township, Puke Village, Chadan Township to Dangqu River, the total length of the route is 211.7 kilometers. The total investment of the project is 660 million yuan.

The bidding project is located in an area above 4000m above sea level, and bidders should fully consider the construction work in high-altitude areas before participating in the project bidding.
