At the beginning of the project implementation, Lu Feng mentioned many times in the meeting between the owner and the supervisor that the idea of setting up a special laboratory in the D standard to ensure the construction quality of the project was highly recognized and affirmed by the owner and the supervisor.

The UAE market has high standards and complicated approval procedures. From laboratory site selection, approval, construction, laboratory equipment procurement, to the selection of third-party operating agencies, equipment calibration, and the audit of the UAE National Bureau of Standards and Metrology, etc., we have passed the D Standard Procurement Department, QA/QC Department and other departments After several months of hard work in preparation, the laboratory finally completed construction and trial operation at the end of February.

In terms of operation, the D standard project hired a third-party laboratory Geoscience Testing Laboratory (GTL) with strong market strength in the UAE to be responsible for the operation, and the QA/QC department of the project joint venture is responsible for supervision.

The establishment of the laboratory can complete more than 95% of various experiments on geotechnical, sand and gravel (aggregate), steel, cement, and asphalt concrete of the second phase of the Arab railway project, which not only greatly saves the experiment cost, but also effectively shortens the experiment time , To ensure the construction progress.

At the same time, the quality control system has been improved, and the overall control and supervision of construction quality has been realized, providing guarantee for the creation of high-quality projects.
