On March 17, 2021, the Guangzhou Public Resources Exchange Center issued the tender notice for the construction of the “Three Electricity” and pipeline relocation projects for the Zhanjiang section of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway. The tenderer was Zhanjiang Development and Reform Bureau. The construction period of the project was 5 years and the investment estimate 99.80 billion yuan.

Overview of Guangzhan High Speed Rail Project

The newly-built Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway leads from Guangzhou Station, passing through Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, Zhanjiang to the west, and finally to Zhanjiang North Station. The newly built double line is 401 kilometers. 9 stations will be newly established: Foshan, Shinkansen Airport Station, Xinxing South Station, Yangchun East Station, Yangjiang North Station, Mata Station, Maoming South Station, Wuchuan Station and Zhanjiang North Station. Scope of bidding for Guangzhan high-speed rail project

Survey, design, land acquisition and demolition (including site cleaning), compensation for young crops, material procurement, construction, and commissioning of the “three powers” involved in the construction and operational safety of the new Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway within the administrative area of Zhanjiang City, and pipeline relocation and reconstruction All work related to the relocation and reconstruction project, including the handover, includes the following:

(1) Ground and underground communications (including military communications), networks, cable television, broadcasting, communication base stations, signal cables and related facilities relocation;

(2) Relocation of ground and underground power lines and related facilities;

(3) Relocation of ground and underground gas (oil) pipelines, water supply pipelines, drainage (sewage) pipelines, and HVAC pipelines;

(4) Go through relevant procedures such as land acquisition and demolition, environmental assessment, water conservation, planning, construction permits, etc. that may be caused by the "three power" and pipeline relocation;

(5) "Three power" and other related work of pipeline relocation;

The planned construction period is 20 months, of which the survey and design construction period shall be completed within 4 months after receiving the bid-winning notice or task authorization (not including review time). The construction period will be completed before December 31, 2022, and the joint construction requirements of the civil construction unit shall be synchronized.
