Recently, China Energy Construction Dongdian II won the bid for the design, procurement and construction of the EPC project of the 15MW DMCI Palawan Biomass Power Plant in the Philippines.

The construction site of the project is located on Palawan Island in the southwestern part of the Philippines along the One Belt One Road. The company is responsible for the construction of a 15MW circulating fluidized bed boiler and its auxiliary facilities. The boiler can burn a mixture of coal and biomass fuel on the island and is the first coal-fired power station on Palawan Island to use the most advanced circulating fluidized bed boiler.

This project is another biomass power plant EPC project harvested by the company in the Philippines following the Masbate biomass power plant EPC project. The acquisition of this project is due to the high-quality performance of TEPCO II in the Masbate EPC project. It is another major achievement of TEPCO II to promote the market through contract performance. After the completion of the project, it will be used by residents of the entire Palawan island. Supply high-quality and low-cost power resources to meet the growing power demand in the region and promote the development of the Philippines' power energy sector. Editor/Tian Zengpeng
