Anjiu high-speed railway


On April 8, 2021, the Hubei section of the Anjiu high-speed railway entered the track laying stage.

The Anqing-Jiulong high-speed railway starts in Anqing area in southwestern Anhui Province, passes through Huangmei County, Hubei Province, and crosses the Yangtze River to Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It has a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and has 7 stations. The main line is about 170.9 kilometers long. , Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail, south of Wujiu, Changjiu, Changgan, Ganshen and other high-speed rails, is an important part of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) channel of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network in the national "medium and long-term railway network planning" .

After the completion of the Anjiu high-speed railway, it will form a north-south large-capacity and fast passenger transport corridor in the three provinces of Hubei, Anhui, and Jiangxi, which is of great significance for strengthening communication between central cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promoting economic and social development along the route. 


Dunhua-Baihe High-speed Railway


At 10:50 on April 9th, 2021, the Dunhua-Baihe High-speed Railway Dunhua South Station was laid at the track laying site. The last set of 500-meter-long rails was smoothly laid to the junction point. This marked the completion of the entire line of the Dunhua-Baihe High-speed Railway. It laid the foundation for the smooth implementation of the static acceptance of the line and the joint debugging and joint test in the next step.

The Dunbai High Speed Rail started its track laying project in August 2020. Due to the long winter, large temperature difference between day and night in the northern region, and the difficulty of equipment maintenance in winter, this high-speed railway puts forward higher requirements for the locking of seamless tracks, the welding process of rails, and the geometric dimensions of track switches. In order to promote the track laying project safely and efficiently, the construction unit adopted the most advanced CPG500 track laying unit in China, which can save more than half of the time compared with manual track laying, and greatly improve the construction efficiency.

As a part of my country’s “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed railway network, the Dunbai High-speed Railway is located in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in Jilin Province, starting from Erdaobaihe Town, passing Antu County, and ending at Dunhua City, with a total length of 113 kilometers. At a speed of 250 kilometers per hour, there are 4 stations in Changbai Mountain, Yongqing, Dunhua South, and Dunhua (existing).

The Dunbai High-speed Railway officially started construction on August 16, 2017, and it is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in 2021.

The Dunbai High-speed Railway is a southward extension of the Changhui High-speed Railway, and the planned Shenyang-Baihe (Tonghua-Baihe section) and Siping-Tonghua passenger dedicated line form a fast passenger railway ring line in the southeast of Jilin Province. An efficient and convenient fast passenger transport network from Northeast China to all parts of the country will be formed.

After the completion of the Dunbai High-speed Railway, it will become a "new engine" for the development of regional cooperation and is of great significance to the promotion of economic and social development along the route. 


Xing (National)-Quan (Zhou) Railway


On the afternoon of April 8, 2021, the Jiangjunzhai Tunnel of the Xing (National)-Quan (Zhou) Railway was successfully completed, laying the foundation for the next track laying construction from Ninghua to Quanzhou.

The Jiangjunzhai Tunnel on Xingquan Railway has a total length of 10077 meters and a maximum buried depth of 375 meters. Because the geology of the tunnel area is mainly composed of sandstone, tuff, and granite, the terrain and geological conditions are complex, which causes great difficulties in construction. The construction unit increased scientific research and strengthened quality and safety control to ensure the smooth completion of tunnel construction.

Xingquan Railway has a total length of 496 kilometers and a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The entire line is drawn from Xingguo Station of Beijing-Kowloon Railway, passing through Yudu, Ningdu, Shicheng and other counties and cities in Jiangxi, and entering Sanming, Fujian via Ninghua, Qingliu, Mingxi, Yong'an and Datian. , Dehua, Yongchun and other counties and cities, eventually to Quanzhou, a total of 33 stations, including 29 newly built stations.

The Xingquan Railway starts at Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, and ends at Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, the starting point of the ancient "Maritime Silk Road". It is a regional trunk railway that takes care of both passenger and freight.

The Xingquan Railway is an important part of the railway passage from the southeast coast to the central and southwestern regions. After it is opened to traffic, it will end the history of no railways in Ningdu, Shicheng, Ninghua, Qingliu, Mingxi, Datian, Dehua, and Yongchun in Fujian. It is of great significance to promote the revitalization and development of the former Central Soviet Area in Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, enhance the transportation capacity of the Southeast Coastal Railway, and improve the regional road network layout.
