On the afternoon of April 18, 2021, Egyptian time, an Egyptian train derailed in Qalubiyu Province. Four carriages derailed, causing 32 deaths and more than 100 injuries. The Egyptian National Railway Company stated in a brief statement that the train departed from Cairo and was originally planned to go to Mansoura, a city in the Nile Delta, about 40 kilometers north of Cairo when it derailed. After the accident, more than 60 ambulances rushed to the scene and rushed the injured to three hospitals in Quelubyu Province for treatment. Most of the injured were in fractures, lacerations and abrasions. At present, someone in the hospital where the wounded was treated is donating blood.
