Recently, the Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project successfully completed the lifting of 4,606 tons of Asia’s heaviest monomer tower. This milestone event was reported in CCTV’s "News Room", which sparked heated discussions, including Xinhuanet, CCTV, and China Industrial. Nearly a thousand local media, including newspapers and Guangdong TV stations, rushed to report.

In the CCTV camera, XCMG's 4,000-ton crawler crane is slowly moving forward at a height of about 0.2 meters from the bottom of the equipment to the ground, maintaining a height matching with the main crane crane, and tacit cooperation. After three and a half hours, the raffinate tower with a height of about 41 stories and a weight of "900 African elephants" finally "stands" on the foundation.

Two Chinese-made heavy-duty hoisting equipment called "the world's most" lifted the "Asia's largest" raffinate tower together and successfully installed it in place, demonstrating the comprehensive strength of China's equipment design, manufacturing, and hoisting.

Han Lei, Crane Design and Product Manager of XCMG Machinery, said in an interview, “In the previous hoisting process of such a large reactor, before such a large crane had to be separated, it would take months or even a year to guarantee it. His completion requires a lot of personnel. So now the hoisting can be seen, and it only takes a few hours to hoist it in place at a time."

It is understood that in order to cooperate with the lifting of Asia's largest 4000-ton raffinate tower, this XCMG XGC88000 No. 3 unit has successfully completed 4,500-ton extreme overload test preparations before operation. The strong lifting capacity and reliable stability also ensured the successful implementation of this hoisting. Editor/Baohongying
