The Cuijiaying Han River Bridge opened to traffic on November 29, 2019. It is located outside the ancient city of Xiangyang in Hubei, adjacent to the famous cultural mountain Xianshan. It uses a (135+2×300+135)-meter continuous steel structure-flexible arch new combination structure to span the Hanjiang River. The most critical control project for the entire high-speed railway line successfully increased the span of high-speed railway concrete beams from 200 meters to 300 meters. The bridge is the world's first continuous steel arch bridge with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a span of 300 meters.
