The scope of the project includes the construction of 198 kilometers of 500-kV transmission lines, one 500-kV substation, and the expansion of one 500-kV substation. The concession period is 30 years. The new substation of the project is the third UHV DC project that Brazil has planned for 2022 bidding. It is an important node hub for power supply to the capital Brasilia.
