The Strategic Competition Act of 2021 has been approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The 281-page bill is not only the latest effort by the US government to suppress China, but also a guiding document for strategic competition with China drawn up by the US strategic community. The bill is full of Cold War mentality and ideological bias and grossly interferes in China's internal affairs. This will not only seriously harm China's interests, but also endanger the well-being of the American people and world peace and stability.
