The Yadan landform is located more than 50 kilometers northeast of Dunhuang City, with an area of about 10 square kilometers. The Dunhuang Railway traverses here and passes through scenes that resemble science fiction movies.

The Dunhuang Railway is located in Jiuquan City, Gansu Province and Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province.
