  • Alliances are the evil tools of hegemony, through which the United States has left a long record

The founding father of the United States, George Washington, repeatedly warned Americans not to emulate the European alliance of the time. In his farewell address in September 1796, he again warned against "a permanent alliance with any part of the outside world".

However, sucking the "Wolf's milk" from the cold war, the United States gradually moved towards alliances and hegemony. Its uncontrollable greed for power made the United States live as it once hated. Brzezinski, the American strategist, did not mince words: "America's global supremacy is underpinned by a delicate system of global alliances."

Today's American alliance system is exactly what its founding fathers feared and the world abhors: a show of bullying, but a show of bullying, and a world of mischief.

The profligate US, battered by the financial crisis and the COVID-19 epidemic, has turned its addiction to hegemony to its Allies, turning the alliance system into a "gang" of partisans and rivals, leaving behind a long record.

Today, we'll take a look at the seven crimes committed by the gang.

shielding

In the eyes of the "ally" of crony, there is never justice, only desire.

Not long ago, Japan announced that it would release contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear disaster directly into the sea, which made people angry. It is incredible that the "lighthouse country", which always stresses environmental protection, human rights and justice, has turned a blind eye to the interests of Asia-Pacific countries and mankind as a whole, and expressed its "appreciation" and "gratitude" in a very elegant manner. The United States and Japan finally even pulled off the mask of benevolence, revealing the nature of the great traitor.

In April 2021, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga visited the United States, becoming the first foreign leader Biden met face-to-face since taking office.

In fact, this is not surprising. The United States has long been known for breaking up right and wrong and judging rewards and punishments far and near. Fairness and justice are nothing but "standing up while standing" archways.

In 1960, South Africa's white authorities opened fire on black demonstrators, killing 69 people in the Sharpeville massacre, which was the result of the tyranny of apartheid. At that time, the United States was determined to contain the influence of the former Soviet Union in the Third World, and could not afford to lose South Africa as an anti-Communist ally. It acted as the leader of the "free world" and did its utmost to protect South Africa without any shame.

On March 21, 1960, white South African authorities opened fire on black people participating in a peaceful demonstration against the apartheid "pass law", killing 69 people.

It turns out that ideological confrontation and geopolitical interests are the criteria by which the United States judges everything. The end justifiesthe means, and the United States has performed a series of Faustian dirty bargains -- selling its soul for profit.

lying

In the past 20 years alone, the United States has repeatedly pieced together the "multinational coalition" and the "volunteer alliance", and perpetuated countless tragedies caused by lies.

With "washing powder" to fake the evidence of weapons of mass destruction, provoked the war in Iraq, let 250,000 Iraqi civilians unjustifiably died. The female soldier Lynch was wounded by a shell and was saved by Iraqi medical personnel. However, under the packaging of CNN, the history of being rescued was claimed to be a history of abuse and became a witness of "human rights abuses" in Iraq. In 2007, she finally admitted at a House hearing that her "heroic deeds" were all fabricated and manipulated by the US military.

More than a decade later, the United States repeated the horrific footage of Syria using chemical weapons against civilians in order to launch air strikes against Syria. Between 2016 and 2019, 33,584 civilians were recorded killed in Syria as a result of conflict. Of those, 3,833 have been killed as a direct result of bombings by the U.S. -led coalition, half of them women and children.

On May 8, 1999, the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia was bombed by NATO led by the United States.

The United States dressed itself up as the "Virgin" of upholding democracy and human rights, but the makeup of lies could not cover up its ugly soul. Recently, Vice President Harris let slip that America has been fighting for oil for generations for many years. As Foreign Policy magazine put it, "upholding human rights" is not a driving force for the United States to use military force abroad, but a means to achieve its own interests.

The US has done everything it can to get its Allies to fabricate and spread lies about China. From "Wuhan virus" to "economic colonialism", from "debt trap" to "genocide", only unexpected, not made up.

It monopolized the hegemony of absolute power, which finally broke the bottom line of humanity of the United States and completely reduced its morality. How sad that a "Promised Land" that once boasted of the ideal of progress should be reduced to such a desolation!

violence

It is the nature of hegemony to be murderous and cold-blooded, and the US hegemony is stained with the blood of innocent people.

The United States has not been at war for all but 16 of its 240-plus years as a nation. From the end of World War II until 2001, there were 248 armed conflicts in 153 regions of the world, of which 201 were initiated by the United States.

In 1989, the United States intervened in Panama over the jurisdiction of the Panama Canal and other issues. In 1999, NATO forces led by the United States bombed the Yugoslavia without authorization from the United Nations Security Council, and brutally and mistakenly bombed the Chinese Embassy. Since 2001, the United States has waged wars and military operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and other countries, resulting in the deaths of more than 800,000 people and the displacement of tens of millions.

On May 8, 1999, the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia was bombed by NATO led by the United States.

The United States military has dragged its Allies into countless wars, creating an unprecedented refugee crisis -- 11 million in Afghanistan, 380,000 in Pakistan, 3.25 million in Iraq, and 12.59 million in Syria. Some 1.3 million Afghan refugees end up in Pakistan, and some 900,000 in Iran. Some 3.5 million Iraqi and Syrian refugees are in Turkey and about 1 million in Iran.

Incidences of torture of prisoners by the US military have been repeatedly exposed by the media, and their cruel acts are unspeakable. America's big brother, Australia, has been a good student in this respect. It has been trying to play Robin to America's Batman, whose soldiers have massacred civilians in Afghanistan, slitting the throats and dumping the bodies of at least two 14-year-olds in appalling acts of "gall killing".

plunder

War is the most direct way for the American alliance system to achieve depredation. As the "No. 1 war machine in the world", the history of the United States in its short history of more than 200 years is a living history of plunder.

Former President Dwight Eisenhower warned when he left office that the United States had developed a systematic "military-industrial complex." In Overcoming the Far Right and Ending the American Empire, Michael Burrows, a professor of history at Yale University, also argues that the US military teamed up with the far right to build the machinery of a "war state".

In 1971, the dollar was decoupled from gold. Since then, its credit has lost the basis of the real economy and increasingly relied on the military oppression and terror brought by the American war machine, forming the hegemony of the trinity of "the United States, the dollar and the American army". The United States, together with its Allies, controls the Middle East's oil resources, keeping the precarious hegemony of the dollar. It is also like handing fat meat to a Wolf, which opens the door for the United States to plunder the wealth of other countries.

While the US is bombing the Middle East, it is squandering oil from the Middle East.

The US has been able to pull on every global crisis: from the collapse of the Soviet Union, which carved up Russia and eastern Europe, to the collapse of Yugoslavia, which looted the Balkans; From the Asian financial crisis, the four Asian tigers and Southeast Asia were seized, to the 2008 financial crisis, the world was forced to pay for the SINS made by the United States. Now, the US has unveiled a stimulus plan worth up to 1.9 trillion US dollars. To put it plainly, the US is printing money and flooding the world with money to suppress the exchange rates of other currencies, including the RMB, and to bite the bite of the international community.

With its dollar hegemony, the US has robbed other countries of trillions of dollars. Exhaustion and despoiling makes every country angry, but in the face of a military alliance armed to the teeth, money or life? As a result, many countries can only dare to speak out.

infringement

The US alliance system is used to playing with international rules, with power disdaining justice and seeking its own interests. As for international law, the US regards it as its own "private law", applying it when it suits it and abandoning it when it does not. In the past few years, the United States has withdrawn from the Paris Agreement, the Iran nuclear agreement, the Open Skies Treaty and the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, withdrawn from signing the Arms Trade Treaty, and reacted negatively to the extension of the New START Treaty. This has been called "the king of withdrawal and breach of the treaty".

Instead of being ashamed, the US is proud to preach a "rules-based international order". But the so-called "rules" are nothing more than the lynching gang rules and overlord clauses set by the small circle of Allies.

The US has challenged the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) by intimidating its Allies with so-called "freedom of navigation of the seas". It has worked with its Allies to thwart the International Criminal Court's investigation of the war in Afghanistan, to cover up war crimes and even to threaten sanctions against ICC personnel who have pushed for the investigation.

In the information world, the United States is the "hacker empire", as early as the Cold War, led the establishment of the notorious "Five Eyes Alliance", to carry out large-scale surveillance and network monitoring around the world. It is even more ironic that while the US is compromising cyber security by nefarious means, it is also calling "stop the thief" and accusing other countries of stealing intelligence and launching cyber attacks.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel shows off her eavesdrop-proof mobile phone at a trade show in 2013. According to the German magazine Der Spiegel, the US National Security Agency bugged Merkel's personal mobile phone for a decade.

In 2013, former CIA employee Edward Snowden revealed to the world that the secret PRISM program of the United States had been spying on people from ordinary people to political leaders of various countries. In the same year, the German magazine Der Spiegel revealed that the US National Security Agency had intercepted computers ordered by foreign diplomats, installed spyware or tampered with the hardware before shipping them to consumers.

In 2017, Wiki released thousands of classified documents, exposing the world to incriminating evidence of the CIA hacking attacks. In 2020, the media revealed that the CIA had been controlling a Swiss company called Global Crypto for a long time since World War II, using it to eavesdrop on top secrets of many countries, including its own Allies.

damage

For a long time, the United States and its Allies have played the role of "dark angels" as regime subverters in other countries and destabilizers in the region.

In Covert Regime Change: America's Secret Cold War, Lindsay O 'Rourke, an associate professor at Boston College, writes that in the 42 years from 1947 to 1989 alone, the United States conducted 64 covert regime changes and six overt ones. In this sense, America's enthusiasm for subversion is even greater than Christmas.

After the end of the Cold War, the United States pursued interventionism even more recklessly, exporting "color revolutions" frequently and hoping to bring about "Arab Spring", which resulted in the "Arab Winter" and "Arab Disaster".

In his book, "In the Name of Freedom: War, Lies and Killing in a Democratic Empire," Chomsky writes sadly: "People were dying; People are being slaughtered under the banner of freedom, democracy and other grandeur."

The United States often flaunted its "superb" "offshore balance" skills and flaunted its so-called "soft power" and "smart power", but in fact it is still engaged in conspiracy and trickery. Different from the traditional Oriental culture of "peace is the most precious", the Anglo-Saxon civilization, such as the United States and Britain, often believed that others' discord and struggle were their own opportunities:

The United States manipulates NATO to squeeze Russia's geographical space and disrupt the EU-Russia reconciliation and the oil pipeline project. Inspire the UK to leave the EU, weaken the EU and consolidate their control over Europe; Separate the Middle East countries, deliberately create conflicts, deliberately let Iran become the target of the Middle East, so as to control the Middle East oil resources.

As for China, the US has done everything it can to stir up trouble and stir up conflicts in the South China Sea, which has become a source of instability for regional stability. Maintaining "controllable tension" on the Korean Peninsula and the Taiwan Straits has made peace on the Peninsula and across the Taiwan Straits difficult. They are fanning the flames of tension along the China-India border and using the "quadrilateral mechanism" to lead India on a wrong path, aiming to bring the two largest developing countries to the brink of mutual destruction.

In its efforts to drive away tigers and eat wolves, the United States has never been stingy with handing over a mess to the countries involved as a "gift". History has shown time and time again that wherever the United States and its Allies appear, they will find themselves in trouble and chaos.

infighting

Like all mafias, the American alliance system has a mix of collusion and collusion, intrigue and cannibalism.

As America's power declined, so did the landlords' surplus. As a result, the eldest brother began to extend his hand to his Allies for his own interests, completely ignoring the food, often brandish "kill Wei stick" to his Allies, forcing them to hand over the "protection money", the benefits of the eldest brother, the disadvantage of the younger brother all carry.

Forty years ago, in order to maintain its economic hegemony, the United States forced Japan to sign the Plaza Accord and dismember Japan's high-tech industry, leaving the Japanese economy with decades of incurable disability. Today, the United States began to force South Korea, Taiwan's semiconductor industry to return to the United States.

From 2009 to 2017, the US imposed a long-arm jurisdiction over Europe, collecting $190bn in fines, monopolising vast amounts of personal data and forcibly buying up sanctions-hit European companies. Recently, in order to make huge profits, Wall Street capital even subverted the 100-year European football pattern and set up another portal to form the European Super League, which attracted a lot of criticism.

The United States forces its Allies to "carry the sedan chair" from a high position, but causes many of its Allies to be black and blue.

After the outbreak of the epidemic, the extreme egoism of the United States has been thoroughly exposed. The United States enjoys a lot of food and drink, but haggling over every ounce of its younger brother. In the early days of the epidemic, the United States and its Allies fought a "mask war" that made a fool of itself.

After the development of a vaccine, the United States divided its Allies into three groups, giving a little help to the pure Anglos such as Britain and Australia, while giving nothing to ordinary Allies such as Europe and Japan and South Korea.

India, which delivered a lot of hydroxychloroquine to the Trump administration in the early days of the epidemic, is now in purgatory, unable to get the promised vaccine materials or the oxygen and ventilator from the US. It is the international political version of "llicking to the last to nothing".

The United States is like an octopus. It controls the world through the tentacles of its Allies. It not only lets its Allies fight for it, but also prevents its Allies from taking advantage of the opportunity.

How can such a nakedly refined egoist, such a corrupt alliance system, assume the responsibility of global governance? On what grounds dare you brazenly claim to represent the international community?

After the Vietnam War, Fulbright, then an American senator, worried that the United States was showing "arrogance of power" that was damaging beyond measure, and that its overexpansion was making it follow the path of the fall of the Roman Empire. But instead of reflecting, the United States has gone further and further down the wrong path.

More recently, Joseph Nye, a prominent American scholar, has issued similar warnings. More and more things are beyond the control of the mighty US, the once-mighty Roman Empire is disintegrated, and the perception that the US is invincible is extremely dangerous.

"Good and evil will eventually be rewarded, and God is good at reincarnation. If you do not look up, God will forgive you." As an old Chinese saying goes, "There must be a punishment for any crime committed, and at least seven of the seven deadly crimes should be punished severely. The storm of historical justice and accountability will eventually come."
