On May 7, 2021, the Yunnan Construction Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. consortium won the bid for the Binchuan-Heqing 66km highway project. The project is located in Binchuan and Heqing County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with a total investment of 10.3 billion!

Binchuan to Heqing project construction

The Binhe Expressway has a total length of 66.269 kilometers. There are 18092m/56 bridges, including a total of 2112m/2 extra-large bridges, 15,610m/49 bridges, and 370m/5 bridges. Set up 11,830m/9 tunnels, including 1 extra-long tunnel with a length of 3740m; 4 long tunnels with a length of 5140m; 3 middle tunnels with a length of 2560m; 1 short tunnel with a length of 390m. The total length of the bridge and tunnel is 33.23 kilometers, accounting for 50.14% of the total length of the route. There are 4 interchanges. Simultaneously construct 5.638 kilometers of Huangping connection line and 4.037 kilometers of Qifeng connection line.

It is proposed to set up 1 service area, 1 parking area, 2 water refilling areas, 5 ramp toll stations, 1 management center, 1 maintenance work area, 1 tunnel management station, 11 tunnel substations, and 3 tunnels across the line Fire pump room. The total construction area of the management, maintenance and service facilities of the whole line is 27,431 square meters, covering an area of 356 mu. The estimated investment of this project is 10,310,655,000 yuan, and the average cost per kilometer is 155,587,900 yuan. The final total investment of the project shall be subject to the approval of a third-party institution jointly recognized by the government and social investors or the project company.
