The Baise Water Conservancy Project is located in the Youjiang River section of Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It focuses on flood control, combined with comprehensive utilization of power generation, irrigation, shipping, and water supply. It is one of the national "Tenth Five-Year Plan" key projects and one of the ten landmark projects for the development of the western region. First, it is also a key project for the treatment and development of the Yujiang River as determined by the comprehensive planning of the Pearl River Basin. The total storage capacity of the project is 5.66 billion cubic meters, the maximum dam height is 130 meters, and the installed capacity of the power station is 540,000 kilowatts. Construction started in October 2001, and all four generating units were connected to the grid in November 2006. The main project was completed and the project was completed and accepted in 2016.

Gezhouba Municipal Company undertakes the construction tasks of the two auxiliary dams of Xiangtun and Yintun. The main construction content is dam foundation earth and rock excavation, dam foundation treatment, dam filling, inverted filter filling, grouting C20 slope protection concrete precast block, and pouring C15 grouting board concrete, etc. Both secondary dams are first-class buildings and passed the acceptance inspection in September 2005, and the project quality was recognized as excellent. The Guangxi Engineering Bureau undertook the construction of roads, auxiliary dams and underground power plants on the left and right banks of the project, and completed more than 4 million cubic meters of earth and rock excavation and filling, and more than 110,000 cubic meters of concrete poured. Among them, the left bank factory road, the right bank Shangba road and the stockyard road, and the auxiliary dam approach road have successively issued certificates of excellent engineering quality issued by the Ministry of Water Resources.
