Xtreme Manufacturing is making its debut on the world's tallest fixed boom telemeter at the 2021 Concrete World Exhibition in the United States, which also marks the company's return to the live trade show. According to Xtreme Manufacturing Company, which is the sister company of power access equipment manufacturer snorkeling, the new Xtreme XR1585-C offers an industry-leading maximum lifting height of 25.9 meters and is the first Xtreme remote hand to use a five-section boom design. Xtreme XR1585-C can lift loads up to 5.4 tons, enjoy a maximum forward distance of 20.4 meters, and can choose a fixed, fork-positioned, swinging or laterally inclined C-class carriage.

The Xtreme XR1585-C weighs 29.7 tons and is powered by a 4.5-liter Cummins 173hp 4-stage final diesel engine with high rough terrain capabilities and a large-capacity 272.5-liter fuel tank. XR1585-C adopts a newly designed chassis, which is specially designed for this model. It is 2.6 meters wide, 2.7 meters high, and has a turning radius of 4.8 meters. It has a wide attitude and can be used as a standard for maximum stability.

XR1585-C has a hydraulic flow of 185.4 liters per minute and a hydraulic pressure of 4000 psi. It can be equipped with a variety of C-level accessories, including pole grabs, hangers, rack booms, buckets and personnel platforms. For customers with B-class accessories, Xtreme offers the XR1585-C version, which is equipped with a B-class carriage (called XR1285-B), and the maximum capacity can be reduced by 12,000 pounds.

The manufacturer’s statement added that, like all Xtreme remote controls, the XR1585-C benefits from the 360-degree visibility of the cab, full-rated boom lift points and long-life boom rollers for smooth operation. XR1585-C can be configured with open cabs, closed cabs and closed cabs with heat and communication, as well as various tires, forklifts and various options (including telematics).

In order to cooperate with the launch of XR1585-C, Xtreme also demonstrated a new concept designed to make it easier to accurately position the load to extremely high levels. A newly designed and pending patent operating platform was installed at the rear of the XR1585-C carriage, allowing the operator to The load is moved to a height, thereby enhancing positioning control. Using the wireless RF pendant, the operator can control all boom functions on the platform in order to safely and efficiently place the load at a height. The carriage is shown as a concept design in the concrete world and will be sold as an option.

In addition to XR1585-C, Xtreme Manufacturing is also launching its pending new patented coordinated boom control option (also known as "coordinated motion") in Concrete World in 2021. This new option is very suitable for the masonry industry. It can better control the load position, making it safer, easier, and smoother to pick up and place loads at height, especially when working on uneven terrain.

This option includes two new sensors on the boom, which enables new horizontal and vertical boom operating modes. The new length and angle sensors enable the operator to achieve true horizontal and vertical fork movements, independent of the angle of the chassis. This option is now available on Xtreme XR944-B and XR1147-B, and will be available on all Xtreme models during the remainder of 2021. Editor/XuNing
