The planned area of the first phase of the eco-city is 21.45 square kilometers, including municipal public works with a total length of about 36.67 kilometers; housing construction projects with a total construction area of about 2,964,800 square meters. Municipal public works include urban roads (bridges), comprehensive pipe corridors, etc.; housing construction projects include standardized workshops, incubators, rental housing, resettlement houses, and supporting facilities.

In addition, the construction of rental housing and resettlement houses in the Eco-City is also worthy of attention. This is the first non-dormitory residential building since the start of Xiaohe New City, which also means that Xiaohe New City will officially enter the era of industry-city integration.

The Ecological Demonstration City is located in the middle of the first phase of Xiaohe New City, which is the core area of Xiaohe New City. At present, the main road network of the first phase of the new town has basically taken shape, and the transportation of the second phase of Xiaohe is also clearly planned; silicon carbide production and research bases, prefabricated building production bases, new energy vehicle production bases and other enterprises in the zone have been put into operation; conference center , Convention and Exhibition Center, multiple supporting hotels and other public facilities are under construction.
