Vestas, a Danish-based wind turbine manufacturer, has won a contract from DTEK Renewable Energy Company to supply wind turbines for the 372MW of the Tilligul Wind Project in Ukraine. Vestas will provide 62 V162-6.0MW wind turbines for the second phase of the 500MW project, each with a hub height of 125 meters.
In March 2021, the company provided wind turbines for the first phase of the project, which has a capacity of 126MW. Vestas Nordic and Central Europe President Niels Debar said: "Ensuring the safety of the 372MW (capacity) in the second phase of the Tilligul project is an important step for Vestas to apply the EnVentus platform in Ukraine.
