On the morning of June 19, 2021, the super-high complex project in Alaman New City, Egypt undertaken by China State Construction International started construction. This is another major high-end housing construction project undertaken by China State Construction in Egypt after the CBD project in the new capital of Egypt. It is also the largest foreign exchange project signed by a Chinese company in the Egyptian market. This will become another model for China-Egypt cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Alamein New City is located on the Mediterranean coast in northern Egypt. It is one of the important strategic cities in the Egyptian government's 2030 plan. In the future, it will be built as the "Summer Capital" of Egypt. The Alaman New City super-high complex project is located in the core area of Alaman New City and is positioned as a super high-rise ocean view mansion. The construction scope includes one super high-rise apartment building about 300 meters high and four super-high apartment buildings about 200 meters high. The contract value of the project is approximately US$1.92 billion and the construction area is 1.09 million square meters. It is another major high-end housing construction project undertaken by China State Construction in Egypt after the CBD project in the new capital of Egypt.
