Real estate investor Legal & General has reached an agreement with the Bristol City Council. The Temple Island plan replaces the failed plan to build a £100 million arena on the site and will support the city’s reconstruction plan with a focus on the economy Applicable housing, training and employment opportunities. It aims to complement the broader "temple district" partnership, which includes the Bristol City Council, the University of Bristol and Network Rail.

Temple Island, designed by Zaha-Hadid Architects, will include a large-capacity conference center and exhibition space, a 345-room hotel, 550 new residences and two main office buildings. The new development project will be heated by the district heating plan provided by the Bristol City Council. The goal of the building is at least BREEAM excellence.

Legal & General CEO Nigel Wilson said: "The convention center will attract representatives from all over the world, while offices and affordable housing will meet urgent local needs and support new lifestyles after the pandemic." We were taken by Bristol. Attracted by the City Council’s commitment to becoming a "city for all". In keeping with our ambition to use the power of pension funds to upgrade in various regions and cities in the UK.

After reaching an agreement with the City Council on the terms, Legal & General will initiate the first phase of the public consultation on the Temple Island plan.Editor/Baohongying
