Belgian leading infrastructure group BESIX announced that it has won a major contract to provide site management and civil engineering for a skyscraper in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, which will become the tallest tower in Africa.

Tower F is 935 feet high and is a project being developed by the African PFOS company with the support of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning. This is an initiative of Ivory Coast, one of the major French-speaking African economic powers. This is the second project linking Africa and Bessex, implemented by the government of Côte d’Ivoire. It adds to the La Mé drinking water plant currently under construction, which is one of the largest facilities of its kind in West Africa and will generate 30% of Abidjan's drinking water demand.
